🌸 Radhashtami 2025 – Celebration of Divine Love 🌸
Radhashtami marks the auspicious appearance day of Srimati Radharani, the eternal consort of Lord Krishna and the embodiment of pure devotion and selfless love. Celebrated on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the bright fortnight in the month of Bhadrapada (this year on Sunday, 31st August 2025), Radhashtami holds a very special place in the hearts of devotees.
On this sacred day, temples beautifully adorn the deities of Radha and Krishna with flowers, jewelry, and vibrant garments. Devotees observe pujas, kirtans, bhajans, and kathas glorifying the unparalleled devotion of Radharani. Fasting, prayers, and offering sweets made with love are common practices.
The festival is not only a celebration of Radha’s birth but also an invitation to deepen our own bhakti (devotion). It reminds us that the highest form of love is selfless service to the Divine.
